Founded in 1974 by Alma Mullet, Helping Hands Quilt Shop lives up to its tagline, “Berlin’s Original Quilt Shop.” As a celebration of the time-honored tradition of Amish quilt-making, we offer a variety of products and a fun, friendly shopping experience. You’ll find many locally made quilts and DIY stitchery quilting accessories. We also do custom piecing and hand-quilting. 

Come shop from more than 3,000 bolts of fabric as well as notions, sewing patterns, books, pillows, wall hangings, crafts and home decor items. We’re always adding items to stay current with trends and skills in the world of quilting.

We’re open Monday through Saturday, 9 to 5 p.m. from April through October, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in March and November, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. December through February.
